Collaboration
Reaching the goal together
Flexible leadership, consistently reliable. The Link between rhythm and melody.
Sometimes the first violin leads, sometimes the bass player is needed to keep the band together from the back. It is crucial for successful collaboration that you remain flexible as a leader without bending. You need consistency and reliability in your communication, decisions and actions.
I describe my management style as collaborative, but determined. I create trust through transparency and open communication. The ability to take criticism and openness to ideas and suggestions are a matter of course for me, and I expect the same from my clients and my teams. In return, I support them – I encourage collaboration, focus on joint problem-solving and ensure continuous development.
In the spotlight: breaking down silos in the company
Special attention should be paid to interfaces with other departments. Alongside the many possibilities – and necessities – for optimising a sales organisation, here also lies great potential. My motto ‘We are all sales’ means that every department plays its part in ensuring the company’s success through customer-orientation and adaptability. This is why cross-departmental cooperation is one of my core topics. With my external and neutral perspective, I can provide companies with particular support in opening up the silos.
„You need to break down silo thinking. This unlocks potential.“
Dr. Bastian Marheineke. Interim Executive
A closer look at how I work
- Open and transparent approach
- Involvement of all stakeholders
- Intensive communication
- Structured and analytical, but also pragmatic and hands-on
- And, not to forget: A good sense of humour makes many things easier
In conclusion, I am not a fan of dogmatic approaches. I use established methods that I have learnt and applied over the years on the job or in seminars. What is crucial for me is that they work in practice and have proven themselves as best practice.
